The following
information guides you through the basic themes presented in Gods
of the New Millennium. The author wishes to emphasise that he
no longer agrees with everything that he wrote in this book. Please
see the New Foreword and
the Detailed
Critique.
The Gods
- Alan Alford is one of the few writers to deal with the so-called 'gods' as a real flesh-and-blood super race. He asks whether these 'gods' may have ruled over mankind for 200,000 years as a result of their higher status and technology.
Homo Sapiens - Gods of the New Millennium explains why the sudden appearance of Homo sapiens
200,000 years ago, with a 50% larger brain, language capability and a modern anatomy, defies all the principles of evolutionary theory.
Interventionism
- Alan Alford cites ancient texts which suggest that the 'gods' may have intervened to create man "in their own image" as a slave race, using genetic engineering.
Creationism
- Alan Alford succeeds where the Darwinists have failed. His convincing scientific explanation for man's origin as a genetic hybrid finally rebuts the argument for Divine Creation.
Science
- Whether by default or design, our academic educations have totally misled us as to our history and origins.
History
- Prehistory and mythology contain valuable clues which have been arrogantly dismissed by the establishment. Gods of the New Millennium rewrites the history books from an entirely different paradigm.
Religion
- Heaven, Hell, the Day of Judgement and virtually every other aspect of modern religious thought can be traced back to ancient mythology. Alford exposes the lie behind Biblical religion with his identification of the Biblical "God", Yahweh, as a flesh-and-blood 'god' with a bloodthirsty reputation.
Afterlife - Gods of the New Millennium explains exactly how this man-made concept originated. There may well be an afterlife, but this book tells you where not to look for the answers.
Racial Origins - Scientists are unable to explain how the human races originated. Alan Alford puts forward a controversial theory on how the genetic sciences of the 'gods' might solve the mystery.
Atlantis
- The Interventionist solution presented in Gods of the New Millennium clearly predates 'Atlantis' and explains where the Atlantis technology came from.
Ancient Sites
- Alford suggests that flesh-and-blood 'gods' may have been the architects of the Pyramids, Sphinx, Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, the Nazca Lines and other ancient sites. Alford studies these sites from a completely different paradigm and challenges the establishment theories with a fascinating alternative scenario.
The Great Pyramid
- Alan Alford sees the Pyramid's design as being functional. His theory suggests that the experts will be disappointed when they open the Pyramid's secret doorway. He confidently predicts the discovery of an empty chamber with two further connecting shafts.
The Bible - A work of mythology which turns out to be a surprisingly good historical record. Gods of the New Millennium
explains the significance of the Seven Days of Creation, the Garden of Eden, the Tower of Babel, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Flood.
God
- A very misunderstood concept, due to man-made religions which have twisted earlier accounts of plural gods into monotheistic religions. There may well be a God, but this book tells you where not
to look for the answers.
Star-Clock - At the heart of Gods of the New Millennium
lies a star-clock, designed by the 'gods', which divides the Earth's precessional cycle into 12 periods of 2,160 years. Alan Alford wonders whether the 'gods' took turns to rule the Earth based on this star-clock. He shows how Stonehenge and Machu Picchu might have been used as stellar observatories more than 4,000 years ago.
New Age
- Another misunderstood concept. The astrological zodiac has its roots in the science of astronomy - a legacy from the twelve divisions of the precessional cycle. The new age (Aquarius) which the Earth is now entering thus has a scientific basis, which may mark a time of great political change in the affairs of the 'gods'...
UFOs and Conspiracy Theory - Gods of the New Millennium
does not deal with these matters directly, but rather by implication. A leading UFO magazine has described this book as "one of the most important UFO books ever written", due to its four main propositions: (1) the 'gods' had genetic longevity and are still alive today; (2) man was made in the genetic image of the 'gods'; (3) the 'gods' have been ruling over man for 200,000 years; (4) the new era of the 'gods' may have actually begun earlier this century when the modern UFO wave began.
Genetics
- Genetics, genetics and genetics again lie at the heart of this alternative history of man and his 'gods'. Alford discusses the legends of our hybrid beginnings, the over-population which followed the Garden of Eden incident, and the genetic reprogramming which then became necessary. The gods' genetic longevity might be the key to man's obsession with immortality since the dawn of civilisation.
Chronology - Gods of the New Millennium contains a vital breakthrough in the area of chronology which provides Interventionism with a long-awaited historical backbone.
Return of the Gods?
- In view of much misunderstanding, let us make this point perfectly clear! There is no "return" as such, because the 'god's have surely remained here on Earth, controlling events from behind the scenes. The imminent new era would thus mark a
political turning point, which may see the gods' presence becoming more "open". The rapid changes which we have experienced in the 20th century may be part of a deliberate acclimatisation programme.
Summary - Alan Alford leaves few questions unanswered in this tour-de-force which explains who the 'gods' were, where they came from, why they came to Earth, why they created mankind, and where they may be now.
